Terms of Service

Last updated: July 8, 2026
This is a starting-point template. Have counsel review and replace the bracketed placeholders (legal entity, jurisdiction, contact addresses) before relying on it in production.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Kashif, the inbound hiring platform operated by [Kashif — legal entity name] ("Kashif", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Kashif lets organizations ("Customers") post jobs, receive and screen applicants, collaborate on hiring decisions, communicate with candidates, and manage the hiring pipeline. Features, plans, and limits are described in-product and may change over time.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure. Each workspace is administered by its Customer, who controls roles, seats, and access for its team members.

You must be legally able to enter these Terms and use Kashif only for lawful hiring purposes in compliance with applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and data-protection law.

3. Customer responsibilities for candidate data

Customers determine what candidate data they collect and how they use it, and act as the data controller for that data; Kashif processes it on the Customer's behalf (see our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum). Customers are responsible for providing lawful notice to candidates, honoring candidate rights, and configuring retention and automation settings appropriately.

4. AI-assisted screening

Kashif offers AI-assisted candidate scoring and drafting tools. These are decision support tools: the platform defaults to human-in-the-loop, and automated actions run only when a Customer explicitly opts in. AI outputs may be imperfect and must not be the sole basis for an adverse hiring decision where prohibited by law.

Customers are responsible for any independent bias-audit or disclosure obligations that apply to their use of automated employment decision tools (for example NYC Local Law 144 or the EU AI Act). Kashif provides transparency and export features to support such obligations but does not itself constitute a compliance audit.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Fees, trials, and billing

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor (Moyasar). New workspaces may start on a time-limited trial; unless you subscribe, the workspace moves to the free tier when the trial ends. Subscriptions renew for successive periods until cancelled; cancelling stops renewal at the end of the current period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Intellectual property

Kashif and its software are owned by us and our licensors. You retain ownership of your Customer data. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that data solely to provide the service.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using Kashif at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the service. On termination, Customer data is handled per our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum, including retention and deletion controls.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-product or by email. These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction, e.g. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia].
